The actual current of the equalizer is influenced by different factors such as the input voltage, line resistance, temperature, and battery performance. The product works to support automatic identification of battery series and features several protective functions such as reverse connection protection, over-temperature protection, over-voltage (4.5V) protection, low-voltage (2V) protection, and alarm.
Upon completion of the balancing process, the intelligent equalizer stops operations and signals an alarm. It has three balancing modes: discharge balance, constant voltage balance, and charge balance. However, an external charger with adjustable non-auto-stop function is required to use this feature.
The product offers two modes: automatic identification mode and manual input mode. In the automatic identification mode, the lowest voltage string is the reference point, and all the batteries are balanced to the lowest voltage string's voltage. For the manual input mode, you can set a required balanced voltage, and all battery strings are balanced to the set voltage value.
The Intelligent Charge and Discharge Equalizer also comes with a 7-inch display that shows data such as balanced voltage, balanced current, voltage per string, total voltage, maximum voltage, minimum voltage, average voltage, maximum voltage difference, number of battery strings, and temperature.
The voltage measure range for this system is 1V to 4.5V. Additionally, the voltage measure accuracy is ±(0.08%+0.06%FS).
When it comes to current setting, the range is 0.1A to 14A. This setting is adjustable according to your needs.
The system also features a PWM pulse discharge method for discharge balance.
