Product Description

The bidirectional DC-DC Smart Active Balancer is a balancing management system tailored for high-capacity battery packs.

Utilizing a bidirectional DC-DC converter combined with an intelligent control unit, this equalizer monitors cell voltages and State of Charge (SOC) in real time. It facilitates the bidirectional transfer of energy between cells, dynamically eliminating inconsistencies.

The balancing current is configured via a mobile app; the actual operating balancing current remains constant, independent of the voltage differential between the individual cells connected in series within the pack.

Intelligent Closed-Loop Control

• During the balancing process, the acquisition module continuously provides feedback on cell status, allowing the MCU to dynamically adjust the balancing current (adjustable from 0.5A to 10A) and the duration of energy transfer.

• Once the voltage or State of Charge (SOC) variance across all cells is reduced to a preset threshold (e.g., ±50mV), the MCU automatically halts the balancing process to prevent unnecessary energy consumption.

• The system supports active intervention throughout the entire charge-discharge cycle: it prevents individual cells from overcharging during the charging phase and from overdischarging during the discharging phase, thereby maintaining cell consistency at all times.

15S Cascade Wiring Diagram

When used in a cascaded configuration, there must be at least one battery cell between every two equalizers to serve as a common point for energy exchange. Installation and wiring method:
Take 15S as an example below, the installation and wiring method is as follows:

Wiring Precautions:

1. Installing a balancing board requires a certain level of technical knowledge in electronics.

2. When wiring, first solder the terminal connectors (with wires) to the battery pack, then plug them into the balancer.

When inserting the terminal connectors, ensure the "B-" terminal is connected first; insert the connector on the "B-" side initially.

Follow a sequence of connecting from the smallest (lowest voltage/index) to the largest (highest voltage/index).
