Product Description

The Intelligent Active Balancer is a balance management system tailored for large capacity series battery packs.

Advantages of Bidirectional DC-DC Smart Active Balancer:

1. Extremely high energy transfer efficiency

• Principle: It utilizes high-frequency DC-DC converter technology to achieve efficient "energy transfer" via components such as inductors and capacitors, rather than simply "burning off" the excess energy.

• Effectiveness: Energy transfer efficiency typically reaches 85% to 95% or higher. This means that energy is moved from high-energy cells to low-energy cells with minimal loss, significantly reducing energy waste—a benefit that is particularly pronounced in large-capacity battery packs.

2. True "Intelligence" and Active Balancing

• Bidirectional Energy Flow: The system can intelligently determine the direction of energy flow under any operating condition—whether in a static state, during charging, or during discharging. It automatically manages the transfer of energy—such as moving charge from cells with higher energy levels to those with lower levels, or—depending on the specific strategy—extracting energy from cells with lower levels to those with higher levels—thereby achieving optimal energy distribution.

• Strategy-Driven Operation: The process is governed by advanced algorithms within the Battery Management System (BMS). Based on a variety of parameters—including voltage, State of Charge (SOC), and temperature—the system dynamically decides which cells require balancing and the appropriate current for that balancing, ensuring precise control.

15S Cascade Wiring Diagram

When used in a cascaded configuration, there must be at least one battery cell between every two equalizers to serve as a common point for energy exchange. Installation and wiring method:
Take 15S as an example below, the installation and wiring method is as follows:

Wiring Precautions:

1. Installing a balancing board requires a certain level of technical knowledge in electronics.

2. When wiring, first solder the terminal connectors (with wires) to the battery pack, then plug them into the balancer.

When inserting the terminal connectors, ensure the "B-" terminal is connected first; insert the connector on the "B-" side initially.

Follow a sequence of connecting from the smallest (lowest voltage/index) to the largest (highest voltage/index).
