What values would an ideal diode read?
Diode test analysis. A good forward-based diode displays a voltage drop ranging from 0.5 to 0.8 volts for the most commonly used silicon diodes. Some germanium diodes have a voltage drop ranging from 0.2 to 0.3 V.

 

What Is PCB Potting?
PCB potting is a method used to protect circuit boards (referred to in these contexts as the substrate) by filling a PCB enclosure with a liquid material called a potting compound or encapsulation resin.

The potting compound fills the device’s housing and, in most cases, covers the entire circuit board and its components, although in some cases it can be used to pot individual components.

 

Potting provides excellent abrasion resistance, as well as protection against heat, chemicals, impacts and other environmental hazards. Typical potting compound materials include epoxy, polyurethane and silicone compounds.

1. This version is the latest optimized version. The module will not be burned if the positive and negative poles are connected reversely, which improves the safety of installation;

2. The ideal diode is a diode with ultra-low internal resistance as the name implies. The conduction voltage drop of ordinary diodes is more than 0.6V. The conduction voltage drop of an ideal diode is almost negligible.
3. The copper foil layer and aluminum base layer of the aluminum substrate PCB traces are insulated with a withstand voltage of 1000V, so there is no need to worry about breakdown problems. The thermal conductivity is 20 times faster than FR4 glass fiber, and can be directly attached to the large heat sink.
4. This ideal diode module cannot be used in rectifier circuits!
